If you fill in our estimate form, we collect the details you type into it: your name, phone number, email address if you give one, your vehicle, the service you need, whether it is an insurance claim, and the description of the damage or problem.

If you call us, we hold your phone number and whatever you tell us about the repair. We do not record calls.

Like most websites, our hosting provider logs technical information such as your IP address, browser and the pages you visited. We use website analytics to understand which pages people find useful.

To reply to you, prepare an estimate, and carry out and record the repair. That is the only reason we ask for any of it.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

If your repair is an insurance claim, we share the estimate and the repair details with your insurance company and its adjuster, because that is how the claim gets paid. We only do this for a claim you have asked us to handle.

We also use service providers who process information on our behalf, such as our website host, our form and database provider, and our analytics provider. They may only use it to provide that service to us.

We may disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect our legal rights.

We use cookies and similar technology for analytics, to measure how the site is used and which pages lead to enquiries. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work. If we later add advertising or remarketing tags, we will update this policy first.

We keep estimate enquiries for as long as we need them to answer you and to keep a record of work we have quoted or carried out, and to meet tax and legal record-keeping requirements. After that we delete them.

If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA, gives you the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to request a copy of it, to ask us to delete it, to ask us to correct it, and not to be treated differently for exercising any of those rights.

We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of on that front.

This site is served over HTTPS, and enquiries are stored with access limited to the people at the shop who need them. No system is completely secure, so please do not send us payment card details, your driver’s licence number or your social security number through the form. We will never ask for any of those on this website.

This site is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Significant changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
